School

My school days at Störck-Gymnasium finally ended in June '97. To my pleasure, I scored 831 out of 840 points in the final examinations; to achieve 1.0, the best mark, 768 points would have been sufficient ;-).

I took my favorite subjects mathematics and physics as special subjects, and I also liked languages, biology and history. Informatics/computer science has been fascinating me ever since elementary school (see also my hobbies).

Before that, I went to school in Mengen. Gymnasium Mengen, as it is called, is a rather small secondary school with only about 250 pupils. I really enjoyed the personal and familiar atmosphere, which only such a small school can offer.

Störck-Gymnasium Bad Saulgau

Störck-Gymnasium at Bad Saulgau in Southern Germany is a secondary school with about 700 pupils. It has become known by its involvement in the International Olympiad in Physics (IPhO) and by a special event called "Tage der Physik" (days of physics) that was held at Störck-Gymnasium two years ago.
